Bug#435837: on closing a bug please prefill subject field with title from bugreport

maximilian attems-11
Package: reportbug-ng
Version: 0.2007.08.03
Severity: wishlist

when closing a bug the subject field is empty,
instead of prefilled.
this would make a big advantage when going throught lots of bugs
that needs to be closed.

The mechanism is the same as if you report a normal bug. If you fill out
the summary line in the last dialog before the mail client opens, that
summary will become the subject of the mail.

I'm not sure if I should refill some summary... what would you propose?

Cheers,

Bastian

sure i've seen aboves, but it is quite boring to always mark
with a mouse the subject of the corresponding bug report before <ctrl>+l
in order to be able to paste it in the close subject.

it seems like an automatic task. :)
hope aboves explains it better.

thanks + regards
