Bug#738977: Have you found a solution ?

Sergio Basto
Hi , I need a URL for po4a [1], but as you mention URL is quite
unpredictable.
So my workaround for now , is not download from alioth.debian.org .

Have you found a way to download from alioth.debian.org giving name and
version, btw sourceforge have this [2]

[1]
https://alioth.debian.org/frs/download.php/file/3942/po4a-0.45.tar.gz
https://alioth.debian.org/frs/download.php/file/4142/po4a-0.47.tar.gz

[2]
<a href="http://downloads.sourceforge.net/%">http://downloads.sourceforge.net/%{name}/%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz

Thanks,

This bug is about how to find the matching .asc for an archive, not how
to download an archive itself.  That's easily achievable:

$ cat watch
version=3
https://alioth.debian.org/frs/?group_id=30267 (?:.*/)?po4a-([\d.]+)\.tar\.gz

Cheers,
