Normally cups is very placid. However, it will react if you ask it to
do something it doesn't like. :)

Looks like it - the symptoms are the same. But the cause could be
different. Please follow the instructions in #855961 and we will see
where it gets us.

I cannot reproduce the problem right now, even though /etc/cups/client.conf
exists.
