Bug#925913: uhubctl: autopkgtest always fails

Graham Inggs-3
Source: uhubctl
Version: 2.0.0-3

Hi Maintainer

It seems uhubctl's autopkgtests have always failed on ci.debian.net [1].

Weirdly, a previous version passes in Ubuntu [2] and prevents migration
of 2.0.0-3 there.

Regards
Graham

I would like to defer this fix until buster is released. Would that be a
problem for ubuntu?

If yes, how could I proceed without asking the release team to unblock
an upload?

Ubuntu 19.04 will be released on 2019-04-18, which will presumably be
before Buster.  So yes, this is a problem for getting the latest uhubctl
into Ubuntu.

You could upload to Experimental, and I can sync to Ubuntu from there.
Alternatively, if you provide a patch, I'd be happy to upload that to
Ubuntu directly.

I've just uploaded 2.0.0-4 to experimental

That worked perfectly, thanks!
See http://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/u/uhubctl/disco/amd64

It would be nice to have this fixed for Buster.  I have it on good
authority that a targeted fix for autopkgtests will be eligible for an
unblock.

Please note that this still fails on DebCI, presumably because tests
are run as non-root by default, which means /usr/sbin is not in $PATH.

A local test, with debian/tests/run-uhubctl-v changed to contain the
full path, passed.
