Bug#927726: wlroots: Please upload new upstream version

Linda Lapinlampi
Source: wlroots
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

0.4 and 0.5.0 have been have been packaged a month ago at VCS (salsa),
but never uploaded to Debian's distribution. Could you upload wlroots
0.5.0 to experimental distribution, please?

unstable could be fine too, but not because upstream still considers the
0.5.0 release as a "pre-release" and has breaking changes.

They were uploaded and set in new for several weeks but were rejected
last week due to missing d/copyright entries. If you want to fix those
I'm happy to take a MR. This is the ftp-masters mail:

```
our hard working trainess found the following issues in your package:
  include/rootston/ini.h, rootston/ini.c, examples/screencopy.c,
  numerous files in protocol/, tinywl/ not accounted for in d/copyright
  Minor issues in d/copyright: `Files: *` stanza needs copyright years
  updating; should be `License: Expat` not `License: MIT`.
```

Cheers,

Hello again,
Please point me to te documentation on how a package goes
from: "Debian NEW and BYHAND Packages" ( https://ftp-master.debian.org/new.html )
to:  the experimental repository. ( https://packages.debian.org/experimental/ )
What is blocking it ?
What is the meaning of the "black" vs "red" font color ?
Thank you very much. Best Regards.
