Gimp startet nicht mehr unter aktuellem Testing

Hi,

ich halte mein testing in der Regel tagesaktuell.  Seit einiger Zeit
auch sehr zufrieden mit

$ gimp --version
GNU Image Manipulation Program Version 2.10.2


Letzte Woche hatte es noch funktioniert.  Ich starte Gimp immer aus
einem xterm heraus.  Seit heute startet es nicht mehr - ich kann nur per
^C abbrechen.  Ich habe die ~/.config/GIMP mal verschoben, das half noch
nicht.  Aber per

     strace gimp

startete es.  Danach ging auch **manchmal** ein normales `gimp` aber
das laden von Bildern schlägt auch fehl.

Hat jemand eine Idee, was ich noch tun kann, um dem Problem auf den
Grund zu gehen?

Sollte ich alle Jahr wieder sagen?  Wie auch letztes Jahr benutze ich
ein aktuelles Testing.  Gimp 2.10.8-2+b1 ist installiert und läßt sich
erstmal starten.  Aber sobald ich irgendetwas machen will (Datei laden,
screenshot erstellen kommt ein Fenster "Gimp crashed with fatal error"
mit der option folgenden Fehlerbericht an Gimp zu senden:

Ein beherztes apt install -t unstable libgegl-0.4-0 bringt bei mir ein
funktionierendes Gimp zurück.

sind da schon bei 2.10.12 (und demnächst 2.10.14), Debian Sid(!) macht
noch mit 2.10.8 rum. :)

Das "wir" deutet darauf hin, daß Du zu Gimp Upstream gehörst.  Ich habe
das jetzt mal eine Weile beobachtet und es ist in der Tat nicht viel
Bewegung beim Gimp-Paket, was sehr schade ist.  Die Liste der Bugs sieht
auch so aus, als würde da keiner regelmäßig draufschauen.

Ich selber habe schon viel zu viele Pakete - aber ich könnte mich dazu
durchringen, ein Paket, daß unter

vorbereitet wurde, zu sponsern.  Das sollte aber vorher mal kurz auf

Der Stand dort ist so augenscheinlich auch 2.10.8 - wobei
ich nicht behaupten will, mich da auszukennen.

Falls es irgendwie helfen würde, könnten wir natürlich auch unser CI
dafür hernehmen, regelmäßig Debian-Pakete zu bauen - allerdings möchte
ich mich da nicht stundenlang durch Anleitungen lesen müssen, es wäre
also schön, wenn es für GitLab irgendwas gäbe, das die Grundlagen
abdeckt - z.B. eine gitlab-ci.yml-Datei beispielsweise, die ein "damit
kann man .deb bauen"-Pakete schon mal installiert und ein Beispiel für
einen Paketbau mitbringt.
